Mustard Tone Remains Steady

PANAMA - Nov 14/20 - SNS -- Mustard seed markets maintained their sideways tone through the past week, suggesting deliveries from growers are meeting the short term needs of processors and exporters.

Prices offered to Canadian growers were unchanged in local currency terms, but eased 2% on the week when converted into U.S. currency.

Prices offered to farmers for yellow mustard seed remain at decile eight, which means they have been higher around 20% of the time since 2007, whereas brown and oriental are at decile four.
