Chickpea Exports From Australia Post Strong Result
PANAMA - Nov 5/20 - SNS -- So far during the marketing year revealed a impeoved result, with chickpea export shipments for Australia recorded major gains, moving upward compared to the previous month in September, judging from official trade statistics from Australia Bureau of Statistics.
Movement during the month reached 27,310 metric tons (MT), up from 19,812 MT the prior month. This boosted shipments so far during the marketing year to 310,730, down 4% last year.
Bangladesh was the top consumer, receiving 11,243 MT. Pakistan was the second most important destination taking 5,971 MT, followed by United Arab Emirates at 3,592 MT.
