Mixed Sentiments in Dry Beans
PANAMA - Oct 23/20 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets maintained their mixed tone in both national and export markets during the past week, with North American markets influenced by moderate grower selling pressure.
This was reflected in the dry edible bean price index for that country, which finished the week 0.8 points lower at 72.
The global pulse price index slipped 0.3 point gain to close at 78.6 on the combination of slight easing in U.S. and Australian pulse markets, while the Canadian index rose 0.5 to 75.6 points on continued strength in lentils.
