Birdseeds Maintain Strong Footing
PANAMA - Oct 23/20 - SNS -- North American birdseed ingredient markets closed the week on a mixed note against harvest selling pressure from farmers in parts of the United States.
White proso millet markets in the United States maintained their recent strength, while Canadian canaryseed advanced in both grower and inter-dealer markets.
Oil type sunflower were firmer in North Dakota but ended on a mixed note in Kansas. By contrast, confection sunflower prices saw sharp downward revisions in prices paid to farmers for both large and small seed.
