Though Easing, Price Optimism In Beans

PANAMA - Oct 16/20 - SNS -- International dry edible bean markets ended the week's trading on a mixed note, with the ready availability of new crop product influencing spot markets in the United States.

This was reflected in the dry edible bean price index for that country, which finished the week 1.5 points lower at 72.8.

By contrast, the global pulse price index managed a modest 0.4 point gain to close at 78.9, while the Canadian index rose 0.3 to 75.1 points.
