Spain's Field Pea Imports Record Better Performance
PANAMA - Oct 16/20 - SNS -- Imports of field peas by Spain showed massive improvement, jumping compared to the previous month in August, the latest data from Eurostat reveals.
Imports during the month reached 70,297 metric tons (MT), up from 7,101 MT the previous month. This lifted imports so far during the calendar year to 99,244, down 9% last year.
Ukraine was the biggest exporter during the month, supplying 35,926 MT. Russia was the second most important shipper supplying 24,025 MT, followed by Romania at 7,040 MT.
