Germany's Confection Sunflower Imports Extend Easy Tone
PANAMA - Oct 16/20 - SNS -- Imports of confection sunflowers by Germany sank relative to the previous month in August, available data from Eurostat shows.
Total imports for the month amounted to 1,865 metric tons (MT), down 90% from the previous month's total of 18,150. So far imports have reached 150,463 MT, down from 189,419 during the last calendar year.
The biggest shipper during the month was China, selling 857 MT. Moldova was the second most important shipper supplying 694 MT, followed by Turkey at 229 MT.
