Green Lentil Exports From Canada Extend Soft Tendency
PANAMA - Oct 6/20 - SNS -- Exports of green lentils from Canada sank relative to the previous month in August, trade data from Statistics Canada reports.
Total movement during the month amounted to 37,033 metric tons (MT), down 35% from the previous month's total of 57,073. So far movement has reached 37,033 MT, down from 41,358 during the last marketing year.
Recent movement statistics showed India was top destination, taking 8,546 MT during the month. Chile was the second most important buyer receiving 6,028 MT, followed by Colombia at 5,497 MT.
