Australia's Lentils Exports Post Easy Performance
PANAMA - Oct 6/20 - SNS -- Australia's shipments of lentilss during August fell compared to the previous month, according to data from Australia Bureau of Statistics.
Exports for the month totalled 25,886 metric tons (MT), down from 54,042 MT the previous month. This increased movement so far during the marketing year to 607,312, up 105% last year.
For the month, Bangladesh was the number one buyer, buying 9,383 MT. Sri Lanka was the second most important importer taking 6,489 MT, followed by Nepal at 3,589 MT.
