U.S. Barley Inventories Slip 5%
WASHINGTON - Sep 30/20 - SNS -- Barley stocks in all positions on September 1, 2020 totaled 180 million bushels, down 5% from last year, according to the latest USDA report.
On-farm stocks are estimated at 109 million bushels, 7% below a year ago. Off-farm stocks, at 71.0 million bushels, are 3% below September 2019.
The June - August 2020 indicated disappearance is 65.6 million bushels, 5% below the same period a year earlier.
