PANAMA - Sep 16/20 - SNS -- Turkey's movement of lentils in July sank compared to the previous month, judging from data from Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT).
Export sales during the month totalled 23,759 metric tons (MT), down from 31,270 MT the previous month. This increased movement so far during the calendar year to 268,635, up 88% last year.
The largest consumer throughout the month was Sudan, receiving 7,976 MT. India was the second most important importer buying 2,372 MT, followed by Germany at 1,368 MT.
