PANAMA - Sep 16/20 - SNS -- Imports of field peas by Pakistan fell compared to the previous month in March, the latest data from Pakistan Bureau of Statistics reports.
Imports reached 60,888 metric tons (MT) in the month, down 27% from the 83,912 MT exported the previous month. Imports so far total 145,003 MT, compared to 32,367 in the same period the previous calendar year.
The biggest export origin for the month was Russia, shipping 22,554 MT. Australia was the second most important shipper selling 12,643 MT, followed by Tanzania at 4,825 MT.
