Field Pea Exports From Lithuania Continue Easy Tone
PANAMA - Sep 16/20 - SNS -- At this point in this calendar year maintained a easier trend, with field pea export shipments from Lithuania were well down, plunging relative to the previous month in July, according to the most recent statistics from Eurostat.
Movement reached 1,001 metric tons (MT) during the month, down 21% from the 1,269 MT shipped the previous month. Export sales so far total 75,995 MT, compared to 143,478 in the same period the previous calendar year.
For the month, Netherlands was the largest destination, buying 568 MT. Germany was the second most important consumer buying 393 MT, followed by Latvia at 20 MT.
