Germany's Confection Sunflower Imports Maintain Soft Trend
PANAMA - Sep 16/20 - SNS -- Germany's imports of confection sunflowers in July shrank compared to the previous month, according to data from Eurostat.
Imports totalled 1,882 metric tons (MT) in the month, down 90% from the 19,160 MT shipped the previous month. Imports so far total 132,330 MT, compared to 167,882 in the same period the last calendar year.
China was the most important shipper during the month, shipping 757 MT. Moldova was the second most important exporter selling 627 MT, followed by Turkey at 314 MT.
