WASHINGTON - Sep 14/20 - SNS -- Dry edible bean harvest activity made relatively good progress during the past week, with 21% of the crop now in the bin, compared to 16% last year and the recent average of 36%.
The Michigan harvest is rapidly approached with most of the crop either setting pods or dropping leaves.
In the case of chickpeas, the harvest is approached 90% complete, similar to this time last year.
