Russia's Chickpea Exports Maintain Solid Performance
PANAMA - Sep 9/20 - SNS -- So far during the current calendar year are keeping up a stronger trend, with chickpea shipments for Russia advanced relative to the previous month in June, judging from the latest statistics from Federal Customs Service of Russia.
Shipments during the month reached 37,678 metric tons (MT), up from 34,710 MT the previous month. This lifted shipments so far during the calendar year to 189,318, up 3% last year.
Recent movement data reported Pakistan was biggest destination, taking 23,649 MT during the month. Other was the second most important destination taking 5,745 MT, followed by Turkey at 4,463 MT.
