United States Grower Bean Index Review
VANCOUVER - Sep 6/20 - STAT -- The grower price index for dry edible beans grown in the United States at the close of the 2019-20 marketing year soaring 17% above the recent three year average.
For the season just ended, the Bean Index was 1185 points, compared to an annual average of 1011 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly pattern reveals the highest monthly average index level was 1353 points in April, while the lowest monthly average level was 933 points in October.
