PANAMA - Sep 3/20 - SNS -- At this point in the marketing year revealed a easier month, with field pea export shipments from Canada were well down, plunging compared to the previous month in July, according to recent data from Statistics Canada.
Total export sales in the month reached 172,154 metric tons (MT), down 43% from the previous month's total of 300,335. So far shipments have reached 3,784,860 MT, up from 3,273,915 in the same period the last marketing year.
The number one destination for the month was Bangladesh, receiving 79,816 MT. China was the second most important importer buying 51,598 MT, followed by Colombia at 5,176 MT.
