Green Lentil Exports From Canada Record Easy Performance
PANAMA - Sep 3/20 - SNS -- Canada's export shipments of green lentils during July dropped versus the previous month, judging from data from Statistics Canada.
Total export sales throughout the month amounted to 57,099 metric tons (MT), down 7% from the previous month's total of 61,148. So far export sales have reached 484,484 MT, up from 454,644 in the same period the previous marketing year.
India was the biggest buyer, receiving 11,558 MT. Chile was the second most important buyer buying 8,232 MT, followed by Colombia at 6,387 MT.
