Broadbean Exports From Australia Sustain Strong Tone

PANAMA - Sep 3/20 - SNS -- At this point in the marketing year are keeping up a stronger tone, with broadbean shipments from Australia were up significantly, rising relative to the previous month in July, judging from available statistics from Australia Bureau of Statistics.

Export sales during the month reached 18,451 metric tons (MT), up from 14,584 MT the prior month. This increased exports so far during the marketing year to 298,003, up 13% last year.

For the month, Egypt was the number one consumer, receiving 9,223 MT. Saudi Arabia was the second most important consumer buying 2,627 MT, followed by Morocco at 1,714 MT.
