Chickpea Exports From Australia Continue Easy Trend
PANAMA - Sep 3/20 - SNS -- Shipments of chickpeas for Australia dropped compared to the previous month in July, the latest data from Australia Bureau of Statistics reveals.
Export sales reached 7,080 metric tons (MT) in the month, down 6% from the 7,562 MT exported the previous month. Export sales so far total 263,959 MT, versus 274,189 during the previous marketing year.
The most recent movement data revealed Pakistan was biggest importer, receiving 3,224 MT. Other was the second most important destination buying 1,014 MT, followed by Nepal at 842 MT.
