BUENOS AIRES - Aug 23/20 - SNS -- Light and heavy frost was reported over much of Argentina's grain production region during the past week.
This year's dry edible bean harvest is virtually complete, but depending on the location of the heavy frosts some damage may have occurred to pulses sown for harvest later in the year.
Discussing the event in general, the Buenos Aires Grains Exchange said some of the early planted wheat suffered irreversible damage. It did not comment on other crops.
