Confection Sunflower Imports By Germany Extend Easy Trend
PANAMA - Aug 19/20 - SNS -- At this point in the current calendar year extended a easier trend, with confection sunflower imports by Germany fell sharply compared to the previous month in June, according to data from Eurostat.
Total imports during the month reached 1,764 metric tons (MT), down 91% from the previous month's total of 18,709. So far imports have totalled 113,051 MT, down from 146,840 during the previous calendar year.
For the month, Moldova was the largest export origin, shipping 605 MT. China was the second most important supplier supplying 604 MT, followed by Turkey at 319 MT.
