Romania's Oil-type Sunflower Exports Continue Easy Tone
PANAMA - Aug 19/20 - SNS -- At this point in this calendar year extended a softer tone, with oil-type sunflower shipments for Romania sank compared to the previous month in June, according to available statistics from Eurostat.
Movement reached 33 metric tons (MT) during the month, down 100% from the 10,349 MT exported the previous month. Export sales so far total 452,742 MT, compared to 612,266 in the same period the last calendar year.
Lebanon was the largest destination, receiving 26 MT. Australia was the second most important importer buying 7 MT, followed by China at 0 MT.
