Bean Buyers Digesting Latest Data
PANAMA - Aug 14/20 - SNS -- Most European buyers will be in holiday mode for much of August, limiting interest in adding to new crop shipping positions as North American farmers prepare for this year's harvest.
The continued convergence of spot and new crop markets was reflected in the spot index for dry edible beans in the United States which dropped 1.4 points on the week to finish at 89.9.
The global pulse price index fell 1.3 points on the week to finish at 73.6, while the Canadian pulse prices index was unchanged at 69.7.
