Poor Bean Ratings Slip on Week

WASHINGTON - Aug 11/20 - SNS -- The past week saw a modest reduction in the condition of dry edible bean crops across the United States, judging from state level crop reports.

The proportion of the U.S. crop rated good to excellent slipped from 66% to 64%, while the proportion rated very poor or poor dropped from 15% to 11%.

Overall crop conditions in North Dakota slipped on the week, with 64% of the crop still rated good to excellent, compared to 66% last week.
