Old and New Crop Bean Spreads Narrow
PANAMA - Aug 7/20 - SNS -- Old and new crop markets for most classes of dry edible beans continue to come together during the past week against a backdrop of easier demand from European buyers because of their holiday season.
This was reflected in the spot index for dry edible beans in the United States which lost 2.6 points on the week to finish at 91.3.
The global pulse price index fell 2.1 points on the week to finish at 74.9, while the Canadian pulse prices index lost 1.9 points to finish at 69.7.
