PANAMA - Aug 5/20 - SNS -- Export shipments of green lentils from Canada were little changed, dropping versus the previous month in June, available data from Statistics Canada shows.
Total export sales in the month amounted to 61,148 metric tons (MT), down 18% from the previous month's total of 75,025. So far shipments have totalled 427,385 MT, up from 420,584 during the last marketing year.
During the month, India was the number one importer, buying 8,671 MT. United Arab Emirates was the second most important destination buying 7,042 MT, followed by Colombia at 6,928 MT.
