No 1 Richlea Lentil Grower Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 3/20 - STAT -- Canadian No 1 Richlea Lentil markets finished the 2019-20 marketing year with prices offered to growers falling 9% below the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for No 1 Richlea Lentil was CDN$21.19 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $23.41 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $25.80 per cwt in May, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $17.00 per cwt in October.
