Extra 3 Red Lentil Grower Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 3/20 - STAT -- Canadian Extra 3 Red Lentil markets finished the 2019-20 marketing year with prices offered to growers soaring 19% above the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Extra 3 Red Lentil was CDN$21.26 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $17.88 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $29.00 per cwt in July, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $14.00 per cwt in September.
