Maple Pea Grower Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 3/20 - STAT -- Canadian Maple Pea markets finished the 2019-20 marketing year with prices offered to growers falling 29% below the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Maple Pea was CDN$324.51 per metric ton (MT), compared to an average annual bid of $456.64 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $349.06 per MT in February, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $275.58 per MT in October.
