No 2 B-90 Type Chickpea Grower Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 3/20 - STAT -- Canadian No 2 B-90 Type Chickpea markets finished the 2019-20 marketing year with prices offered to growers falling 21% below the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for No 2 B-90 Type Chickpea was CDN$462.14 per metric ton (MT), compared to an average annual bid of $586.56 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $533.56 per MT in May, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $379.16 per MT in August.
