Green Pea Grower Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 3/20 - STAT -- Canadian Green Pea markets finished the 2019-20 marketing year with prices offered to growers advancing 6% above the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Green Pea was CDN$385.77 per metric ton (MT), compared to an average annual bid of $364.72 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $447.35 per MT in January, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $298.54 per MT in September.
