Moderate Improvement in Dry Bean Crop

WASHINGTON - Jul 27/20 - SNS -- The condition of this year's dry edible bean crops improved over the past week in the United States, judging from state level crop reports.

The proportion of the U.S. crop rated good to excellent advanced from 63% to 68%, though the proportion rated very poor or poor inched up from 10% to 11%.

Overall crop conditions in North Dakota were little changed on the week, with 60% of the crop still rated good to excellent, though crops are advancing at a somewhat slower pace than last year.
