Peas Cautious About Demand

Markets remain uncertain about medium and long term demand, with both above average monsoon rains and increased tension between the United States and China creating open questions about demand prospects for peas and other pulses.

The United States has already stated it has closed down chances for a second part of the agreement on trade with China, creating some optimism demand for peas for livestock feed will remain strong if China's purchases of U.S. soybeans and corn slow.
