No Pressure on Spot Lentils
PANAMA - Jul 24/20 - SNS -- The absence of significant spot demand pressure allowed lentil markets to continue to merge with new crop price levels during the past week.
Farmers appear to be continuing to clear bins to make space for the pending harvest, keeping product offered by growers well aligned with the short term needs of exporters and processors.
This was reflected in both relatively strong bulk exports and deliveries by farmers into the handling system during the week ending July 19.
