Few Changes in Chickpeas

PANAMA - Jul 24/20 - SNS -- International chickpea markets ended the week's trading little changed, while maintaining their recent firm undertone.

Worries are emerging about disease problems in parts of western Canada and the northern United States, with processors and exporters looking to see if average yields will be likely decline.

There is also a concern that if disease problems expand, land in chickpeas in Montana, North Dakota and western Canada could fall more than currently expected.
