Another Moderate Slip in Crop Ratings

WASHINGTON - Jul 20/20 - SNS -- Dry edible bean crops in the United States continued to deteriorate slightly during the past week, judging from state level crop reports.

Conditions in the most important producing state of North Dakota remain relatively good, but the condition of crops in other states declined during the week.

While crops showed a marked improvement in Colorado, modest declines were recorded in Minnesota and Montana. It is worth noting conditions for chickpeas and beans are combined in states which produce both crops.
