Oil-type Sunflower Imports By Netherlands Record Easy Month
PANAMA - Jul 17/20 - SNS -- Netherlands's imports of oil-type sunflowers during May sank compared to the previous month, judging from data from Eurostat.
Imports totalled 92 metric tons (MT) in the month, down 100% from the 56,688 MT shipped the previous month. Imports so far total 322,734 MT, compared to 284,824 during the last calendar year.
For the month, China was the most important supplier, supplying 63 MT. Egypt was the second most important supplier selling 25 MT, followed by Turkey at 4 MT.
