Confection Sunflower Imports By Germany Continue Easy Tendency
PANAMA - Jul 17/20 - SNS -- Imports of confection sunflowers for Germany fell sharply versus the previous month in May, recent data from Eurostat reports.
Imports during the month totalled 1,980 metric tons (MT), down from 26,868 MT the prior month. This lifted imports so far during the calendar year to 94,558, down 21% last year.
The most important export origin throughout the month was China, selling 911 MT. Moldova was the second most important origin shipping 476 MT, followed by Turkey at 450 MT.
