Pea Markets Holding Steady
PANAMA - Jul 10/20 - SNS -- Field pea markets were generally steady during the past week because of tight supplies in major exporting regions.
France updated its production estimate for this year during the past week, pegging the harvest at 700,000 metric tons (MT) from 212,000 hectares, down from 711,000 MT from 176,000 hectares last year.
This is not expected to have an impact on the country's ability to export peas or meet the needs of its domestic markets.
