Lentils Unchanged To Easier

PANAMA - Jul 10/20 - SNS -- Lentil markets were unchanged to modestly weaker during the past week as old crop prices continued to merge with new crop.

Preliminary data from the Canadian Grain Commission suggests June was another good month for bulk loadings of lentils for export from Canada.

Up to 136,900 metric tons (MT) were loaded for bulk export during the month, compared to 164,500 in May and 79,100 the same month last year. Total bulk loadings through the end of June are around 1.028 million MT, well above the 584,500 loaded during the same 11 month period last season.
