Mixed, But Firm Week In Beans
PANAMA - Jul 3/20 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets posted a mixed finish on the week, reflecting lax demand, but the undertone on spot markets remains relatively firm because of tight inventories.
The spot index for dry edible beans in the United States, finished the week closed down 0.6 points on the week at 95.4. The global pulse index lost 0.7 points to finish the week at 80.5 as old crop markets start converging with new crop and spot demand eased.
