Broadbean Exports From Australia Maintain Firm Performance
PANAMA - Jul 2/20 - SNS -- At this point in the marketing year are keeping up a stronger tone, with broadbean movement for Australia made modest gains, rising compared to the previous month in May, according to recent statistics from Australia Bureau of Statistics.
Exports for the month reached 33,280 metric tons (MT), up from 28,269 MT the prior month. This boosted export sales so far during the marketing year to 267,250, up 8% last year.
During the month, Egypt was the most important destination, buying 17,404 MT. Saudi Arabia was the second most important consumer buying 7,136 MT, followed by United Arab Emirates at 2,538 MT.
