No Change in U.S. Mustards Area

WASHINGTON - Jun 30/20 - SNS - Farmers in the United States maintained mustard seed acreage at 91,000 acres, unchanged from last year, according to the USDA's seeded area estimate for 2020.

Mustard seed area for harvest is forecast at 93,000 acres, up 3% from the previous year.

Acreage planted to rapeseed is estimated at 12,500 acres, up 1,200 acres from 2019 and represents the third highest area since records began in 1991. Harvested rapeseed area is forecast at 11,800 acres, and will be the second highest on record, if realized.
