Quiet Period Leaves Mustard Unchanged
PANAMA - Jun 26/20 - SNS -- North American mustard seed markets were largely unchanged in limited trading interest in both and opening season new crop shipping positions.
Markets are looking forward to the coming week's seeded area estimates. Both reports from the USDA and Statistics Canada should give a strong indication of actual seeded area.
Though seeding in Canada was virtually complete by the end of the survey period, many farmers were not finished planting this year's crop, with the result the estimate is a combination of actual and intended plantings.
