Field Pea Exports From Lithuania Post Strong Result
PANAMA - Jun 15/20 - SNS -- Lithuania's shipments of field peas in April posted decent increases, moving versus the previous month, according to data from Eurostat.
Shipments totalled 1,586 metric tons (MT) during the month, up 8% from the 1,462 MT shipped the previous month. Shipments so far total 64,800 MT, compared to 94,987 in the same period the last calendar year.
The most recent movement statistics showed Germany was top buyer, taking 640 MT. Poland was the second most important destination buying 422 MT, followed by Austria at 254 MT.
