Confection Sunflower Imports By Spain Maintain Solid Trend
PANAMA - Jun 15/20 - SNS -- Spain's imports of confection sunflowers during April posted major advances, moving upward compared to the previous month, judging from data from Eurostat.
Imports for the month reached 30,087 metric tons (MT), up from 18,926 MT the previous month. This boosted imports so far during the calendar year to 95,511, up 52% last year.
The biggest exporter during the month was France, supplying 25,318 MT. China was the second most important supplier selling 1,932 MT, followed by Bulgaria at 1,076 MT.
