Oil-type Sunflower Exports From Romania Extend Weak Tendency
PANAMA - Jun 15/20 - SNS -- Romania's movement of oil-type sunflowers in April fell sharply versus the previous month, judging from data from Eurostat.
Total movement during the month amounted to 16,881 metric tons (MT), down 82% from the previous month's total of 91,602. So far shipments have reached 381,529 MT, down from 540,841 in the same period the last calendar year.
Turkey was the number one buyer for the month, receiving 16,857 MT. Other was the second most important consumer taking 24 MT, followed by Canada at 0 MT.
