Beans Maintain Firm Undertone

PANAMA - Jun 12/20 - SNS -- Global dry edible bean markets finished the week's trading with a generally firmer undertone in the face of tightening stocks in spot markets and worries about Argentina's harvest.

This was reflected in the spot index for dry edible beans in the United States, which advanced one point on the week to close at 168.3.

Despite continued weakness in some Australian pulses, the global pulse index gained 1.5 points to finish the week at 151.7. On the other hand, the Canadian pulse prices index rose 1.1 points on the week to finish at 151.5.
